Finally, a Mrs.

Just returned home after spending two wonderful weeks in the Lowcountry for the celebration of our wedding!! It was beautiful, everything and more we ever dreamed it would be! It is hard to believe that after all of the anticipation, waiting, excitement and nerves that I am no longer a bride but a Mrs. As everyone says, the day flew by, but at the same time I can honestly say we sat back and took everything in and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest. It really helped having a week with our family and friends leading up to the wedding and a week after to just relax. Being on Hilton Head Island the week before the wedding allowed us to obtain our marriage license, have meetings with some of our vendors, visit the wedding site, have a golf outing for the guys and a bridal luncheon for the girls in Historic Bluffton at The Cottage (if you are ever in Bluffton you must make a stop here), enjoy the beach, have our rehearsal and then a wonderful welcome dinner where we got to interact with all of our family and friends the night before the wedding. We ended up having a total of 64 people to share in our celebration and I must say this was the perfect number. I think we met our goal of having a Romantic Southern Charm wedding with lots and lots of details, delicious food, and an intimate celebration all wrapped up with lots southern hospitality and love.
